Aging is inevitable; but passion for the game never gets old! That's why Dinger Baseball Events provides opportunities for men to participate in our tournaments in 60+, 65+, 70+, and 75+ divisions. What's even better? How about driving a pitch over the fence for a home run at that age? At our Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in Asheville, NC it's a very real possibility!
So what makes Dinger Baseball Events so popular? We're glad you asked! We hold our tournaments close to cities that provide fun things to do off the field, as well as between the lines. Games are scheduled to give guys and their teammates and/or significant others time to explore the surrounding areas, enjoy restaurants and shops, and still play five weekday games. We limit our divisions to six teams and play 7-inning games on fields with shorter fences.
Bring your team to Asheville in April to shake off the winter rust and get ready for your summer league play.
If you're 75 or older, play a little sandlot-style with guys from all over the US as part of the Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in May.

Latest on the 2026 Spring Dinger
That's a wrap for our 2026 Event! We appreciate all the players and fans who make this event a success from year to year. We're updating this website with results and gallery photos. For day by day recaps and ALL the game photos, please go to our Facebook page. All of the photos taken are not protected, so feel free to download the ones you like.
Now we start to focus on 2027. Players will be receiving a survey via email with questions to better allow us to make changes or additions to our event. Please help us out by submitting your responses. Team managers who have participated in the past, along with those who have expressed interest in bringing a team in 2027 will be receiving the team inquiry the first week of July so that we know how many teams to expect in each division and can plan accordingly. The inquiry does NOT guarantee a berth, but will get that team a slot in the lottery.
NOTE: At this time we are NOT planning on an additional event for 2026 in Massachusetts. We did not have enough team interest to make a commitment on field rental.
