The Blue Ridge Parkway is a linear National Park that runs 469 miles from Rockfish Gap, VA South to Ravensford, NC, right through Asheville. There are several access points to get on the parkway in and around Asheville. So, explore some of the best views in the country in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
It appears that due to the extensive damage on most of the Blue Ridge Parkway is still closed. However, the only section that is open is the 25 or so miles that go from east side of Asheville to the South Side of Candler. Click here for more details.
