Aging is inevitable; but passion for the game never gets old! That's why Dinger Baseball Events provides opportunities for men to participate in our tournaments in 60+, 65+, 70+, and 75+ divisions. What's even better? How about driving a pitch over the fence for a home run at that age? At our Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in Asheville, NC it's a very real possibility!
So what makes Dinger Baseball Events so popular? We're glad you asked! We hold our tournaments close to cities that provide fun things to do off the field, as well as between the lines. Games are scheduled to give guys and their teammates and/or significant others time to explore the surrounding areas, enjoy restaurants and shops, and still play five weekday games. We limit our divisions to six teams and play 7-inning games on fields with shorter fences.
Bring your team to Asheville in April to shake off the winter rust and get ready for your summer league play.
If you're 75 or older, play a little sandlot-style with guys from all over the US as part of the Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in May.

Let's Talk 2027 Sping Dinger
Last week we sent out the Team Inquiry emails to all managers who have participated in past Spring Dingers and others who didn't make the draw or have sent us emails as to wanting to participate in future events. If you think that you should have received that email and link to let us know of your interest, please email or call us so that you have the chance to put your team in the drawing. The link attached to that email does NOT guarantee a berth; it just gives us an idea of how many teams, and in which divisions, so that we can plan the actual dates of play for each age group. The next step will be to set the dates and then set up a Zoom call with all managers for the drawing and finalizing the teams. Looking forward to the 2027 event!
NOTE: At this time we are NOT planning on an additional event for 2026 in Massachusetts. We did not have enough team interest to make a commitment on field rental.
