2026 Spring Dinger News
We've grown again! A second 60s Open group has been created that will start play on Weds, April 15, and end on the 17th. We had 13 teams asking for a berth in 60+ Open, and the only solution to accommodate as many teams as possible was to add another few days to the event. We now will have teams on the field for three and a half weeks! We always wish that it were possible to take every team in each division, but the number of fields dictates a total of 6 teams each, thus a blind draw is the only fair way, and unfortunately, not all teams in the 65 division received slots. Hopefully those teams will try again next year and grab a berth. In order to make room for an additional two 70+ teams we will be using one of the lower fields, bringing the total number of 70+ teams to eight!
A 75+Sandlot Style Division is a GO! We have received many inquiries for this new addition from all over the Country and are looking forward to it. We have chosen four managers who have named their teams and will choose two players each as their "holds". All guys who signed up will receive emails for their registrations and invoices for the fees in December, and we will begin assembling the teams in January and have the rosters to the managers by February first. We are very close to being at our 15 man per team limit, so if you have not sent us an inquiry do so now using the link below!

Aging is inevitable; but passion for the game never gets old! That's why Dinger Baseball Events provides opportunities for men to participate in our tournaments in 60+, 65+, 70+, and 75+ divisions. What's even better? How about driving a pitch over the fence for a home run at that age? At our Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in Asheville, NC and our newly planned Bay State Bash near Boston, it's a very real possibility!
So what makes Dinger Baseball Events so popular? We're glad you asked! We hold our tournaments close to cities that provide fun things to do off the field, as well as between the lines. Games are scheduled to give guys and their teammates and/or significant others time to explore the surrounding areas, enjoy restaurants and shops, and still play five games over three weekdays. We limit our divisions to six teams and play 7-inning games on fields with shorter fences.
Bring your team to Asheville in April to shake off the winter rust and get ready for your summer league play. Head to Boston in September with your tournament team to firm up your roster and gel before you take on other teams at your World Series event in Arizona or Florida.
If you're 75 or older, play a little sandlot-style with guys from all over the US as part of the Blue Ridge Spring Dinger in May.
